Remember, fostering truly saves lives and you have to BE the one to stand up and raise your hand to truly bring change....in your own community or around the world.

I leave you with before and after images of Marlon, a young kitten with zero chance on the streets of Istanbul.
Your support made Marlon's treatment and ultimate survival possible.

After extensive surgery, flights across the world, he's now recovering at his new home in Portland, Oregon...

THANK YOU!
Your contributions at work...

Dear Friends of Let's Adopt!

I would like to thank you very much for considering a kind contribution to the Let's Adopt!'s Simba Fund.
As you might know, Let's Adopt is a 100% volunteer run organization. We do not receive any public funding or grants. All our operations such as vet care, specialty surgeries, housing, flights, are sponsored by us and the contributions of kind tribe members such as yourselves.
Please accept my deepest gratitude for the gift you're giving us.

Unless you mark your contribution for a specific cause, it will allow us to sponsor dogs such as Hope (Umut), who's being cared for by Dr. Schweda in Hannover, Germany - perhaps THE best veterinary orthopedic surgeon in Europe.

Umut was found on the side of the road near Izmir,Turkey, in the condition you see.
Paralyzed, wounded. He didn't have a chance in Turkey.
So, we moved him in with Dirk and his family, of Let's Adopt! Germany and soon after Doctor Schweda took Umut in.

[Umut's injuries]

[Umut's arrival at Dr. Scheda's Clinic in Hannover this Spring]

We promised Umut that he would walk again, however the news wasn't all that good.
On top of his accute injury Umut also had an old spinal fracture, and needed extensive multiple surgeries.

Here's an excerpt of Doctor Schweda's note to around Easter...
".....as expected Umut has an old fracture of the spine, we will make a “dorsal hemilaminectomy” and will integrate a “Lubraplate” in combination with that. This plate has to be individually produced. The OP will be conducted directly after Easter. Umut is feeling very good and loves it to be here. …”

Umut's surgery went well, yet to walk, he will need the support of a cart, which we are in the process of ordering for him.
Thanks to your contributions, we will be able to give Umut a set of cool weels to spin around with in his new home in Germany.
After his cart arrives and is correctly fitted he will move on into his final home.

A Happy End compared to what awaited him on that roadside in Turkey.

All thanks to contributions such as yours....

Sincerely,
Misha Dee

RIPLEY

This is just a small choice of cases in our care.

Please continue to support our work.
We are not only looking for contributions but are also in desperate need of VOLUNTEERS!

Flight Escorts
- are you traveling a lot? Especially to/from Europe? - You can be a lifesaver! At no extra cost to you. Just donate a little extra time at the check-in/out and customs

Foster Volunteers
- we need you in all countries!! We're desperate in Turkey. TRULY desperate for foster homes. There are too many animals we can't take in because no one will step up and make a little space in their homes to them....
We also need your help in Germany, France, USA, Canada, Bulgaria...everywhere :)

Activists
- you know who you are. Annoyed by PETA and a little scared of ALF? We might just be the right place for you to land.
