THANK YOU!

Thanks to anyone who answered Leonard's challenge.

We have come a little bit closer to sending our adopted dogs on the road (or shall I say in the sky)very soon.

Star and Long John have been adopted, and will go to the US.
Genny our beautiful doberman and distemper survivor is going into a foster home in Austria and will be re-homed from there.
Some dogs have already been brought to Germany, Belgium and France.

We still have dogs in expensive pensions, as our Turkish network has failed to come through for these animals.
We asked over and over again for foster homes, adoptive homes, nothing.

So, these dogs are in pensions until they will be adopted.

Please continue your support of the Simba Fund.
All funds go to pay 100% for animal care and vetting.
The current dollar amount you see contributed in the chip-in has most likely already been spent.

Thank You For Your Continuous Support!

Leonard's Challenge...

On the evening of the 8 of April, Let’s Adopt! received a most generous offer.
Altruism in its purest form.
On the evening of the 8 of April Let’s Adopt! received a most generous offer. Altruism in its purest form. The offer came from our friend Leonard Coy, a businessman based in Byron Bay (Australia) that is also deeply involved in the running the Soi Dog Foundation, our Thai partner.I’ll toss out a challenge here… I will match your contribution (dollar for dollar, euro to euro whatever) up to a total of $100. What does that mean? If you contribute $10, your contribution DOUBLES to $20. Let me know if you make a contribution as a result of this post
(leonard@soidog.org and I will donate in kind)

BE The Change!
We can't do this alone!
Please share this post and the widget on your FB profiles]Dear Friends,
As you probably know Let’s Adopt! has stopped all re-homing activities in Turkey. After two years and thousands of rescues we feel we have reached capacity here. The Turkish animal lover community has great potential but it needs maturing and needs to absorb new ideas. From now on we will focus on two fronts:1. the rescue and rehabilitation of blind, paralyzed and handicapped animals.
2. Educating the global community about companion animal issues, with an specific focus on the plea of Turkish animals.I want to request the help of our German friends in finding homes to the last remaining animals in our list. Some of them are in foster homes, the majority of them are staying in pensions at a cost we simply, cannot afford. Please have a look at our adoption list and adopt one of our last 10 dogs. If you are considered a suitable adoptant one of our volunteers will personally deliver the animal to your home, anywhere in the world (except the UK, Australia or Japan). Please note: Let’s Adopt! DOES NOT APPLY A REHOMING FEE. Our rescue operations and transport to the final family are financed through the voluntary contributions of our members. Sometimes adoptants contribute, but this is not, by any means, an obligation. Please have a look at our adoption list and feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions.
